When my son started to crawl I understood I couldn't do anything but just looking after him. As a housewife I also need to cook and keep the house clean and I got absolutely nobody to help me. My hub is at work all the time and my relatives are too far, and no money for a babysitter. So we had to buy the playzone.
First time we brought it home our son loved it: it was something new for him, activity panel is also quite entertaining. Now he hates it as it limits his "exploring territory". My hub calls it "baby jail". Too sarcastic but that's the only place to which I can trust, and know that the baby will be safe in it when I need to do something about the house.
There is one con I'd like to mention: activity panel can't be turned off, and when the baby pushes colorful buttons the music starts to play (which is also pretty loud). That can be quite annoying sometimes. We found next solution for it - put a sticker on holes where the music comes from.
We didn't buy any extensions for it, it seems pretty expensive for us. We just connect it to our sofa and tv table (opposite the house wall) to expand it. So the baby has more space to play and explore

I couldn't decide between this baby gate and the all white one that was only about 45 dollars a set. I was really worried about the cost of this, but my husband and I decided this one looked better for our child, plus it came with the 'toy wall' already attached. I couldn't wait to receive this in the mail, for my daughter had just learned how to crawl and I didn't get a break all day long. My days were mostly chasing my little one around the house. When we received it, my husband had it all together within 6 minutes. The pieces just slide into each other, and bend and turn easily into any desired shape. I purchased two of these gates because I knew one wouldn't be big enough, and in the end it's cheaper to just buy two than just a couple of extenders since you wouldn't get another 'toy wall'. I highly recommend purchasing two. My daughter loves all the toys on the wall, and can't climb out of the play area, not matter how much she tries. It's colorful, easy to clean, and is very easy to take apart and store when not in use or to take with you to the park or outside! I love this, and would say it's a must have for any parent. I have added pictures of my daughter in her play area.
Ps. On each handle at the top of each panel I attached a toy to each handle with two baby rings to add extra fun for my little one as you can see in the picture.

I had high hopes for this because the review were decent. It would work fine for a baby up to age 1 IF you don't also have a toddler.... I had my 5 month old inside it and my two year old toddler was outside of it and able to pull it across the room and could easily pull it across the top of the baby who was inside it. It is so flimsy that he was also able to collapse it like an accordian and could have squished the baby. You can actually squeeze a piece of the plastic wall and it will compress easily in your fingers. The reason I got this was so I could run to the bathroom or kitchen for two minutes and leave them both in the same room together (baby inside and toddler outside of it). That is completely impossible. Additionally, the gate key does not stay connected and you have to jiggle it back and forth to get it to work. If your child is outside of it, they can remove the key. The volume on the attached toy cannot be controlled and it is quite loud. And my final complaint...it is not tall enough. Even if it were not so flimsy, my two year old can easily climb over it and he is under average height. Junk.

We have a one yr old grandson living with us. The playzone is very easy to put together and move around and yet secure and safe. The only thing I might add is an on/off button for the sounds and lights. But it's so much better than the wooden products. I would recommend this product to anyone who has small children! They Playzone was delivered from Amazon within a few days of the order. I love Amazon and I love the Playzone.

The little playzone with sounds and lights was bought to put in the nursery at church. The kids love it. The hour we have them in the nursery isn't long enough for them to play with everything. I've had parents and Grandparents ask me where I found this.We didn't have room for the add ons that can be bought with this, but I would recommend add ons if you have a big enough area.
