Sending this back ASAP. Horrible September 5, 2010 Holly Monsen (Salt Lake City) My baby has to sleep in the pack n play because we already have another child in the crib. The pack n play mat is very hard and I thought that rather put a blanket in there for her to sleep on ( which is dangerous) That I would order this mattress. I looked around online and even though this one was more pricey, it seemed to be a good bet. I was wrong.
When the package arrived, I pulled the mattress out and it felt like a peice of hard foam with noisy plastic around it. When you push on it, it makes an awful plastic noise. My baby slept on this one night. I even went and bought a 20 dollar quilted sheet to fit over it so it would be super comfy. My baby cried all night long, finally at 3:45 am, we ripped the stupid mattress out and put a blanket back in for her to sleep on. She slept the rest of the night just fine.
This was last night. I am sending this mattress back tomorrow. On top of the fact that it must be extremely uncomfortable, there is about a 2 inch gap at the bottom and about a 1.5 inch gap along the sides. IT doesn't even fit the pack n play right.
I highly do not suggest this item.
great for pack n play July 22, 2010 H. Daube (VA) This should come standard with pack n plays. I feel awful that I didn't have it for my son for the first 1 1/2 year of his life. It makes sleeping in his graco pack n play much more comfortable. It's a must buy if you travel (by car)! The only downfall is the size. It doesn't fold up.
Ahhhh.... sleep May 19, 2010 Coleen Lively 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although my son will sleep in a pack 'n play for naps, he becomes really uncomfortable when sleeping overnight. Having this mattress means we can all sleep through the night, which is worth any price. The price of this mattress, however, is really quite inexpensive. I would recommend this to anyone who travels frequently and wants their child to be comfortable.
Like these a lot May 11, 2010 Darcy Patrizi I purchased two of these for my pack n' plays. So far, my kids have slept like they are at home when we are traveling.
A warning would definitely be that they do elevate the area 2 inches so if your child is a climber this may not be the product for you.
Works fine April 30, 2010 C. Hanley 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not a "mattress" like your child's bed mattress, it has like foam and stuff in it I would guess. However, for a baby, it works just fine. Our 6 night vacation was a success.
